Vanpool driver has DUI charge
LATEST NEWS: Virginia – A commuter vanpool driver was charged with DUI while carrying passengers on Interstate 95 in Stafford. The van's driver was pulled over by Virginia State Police and charged with drunken driving. F.L. Tyler, Virginia State Police spokesman reported that there were eight passengers riding in the commuter van.

Fresno police sergeant had .22 blood-alcohol level
LATEST NEWS: An off-duty Fresno police sergeant was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence. The Fresno Police Department reported that he had a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit. Sgt. Ron Hughes was arrested when an officer saw him driving erratically about 1:30 a.m. Toxicology reports showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.22. The legal limit is 0.08. Hughes remains on modified duty.

LATEST NEWS: REHOBOTH BEACH – Police reported 47-year-old Wilmington man who had previously been arrested six times for driving drunk was arrested for DUI following a hit-and-run crash and chase near Rehoboth Beach.

Police chief had previous DWI
LATEST NEWS: Bastrop Police Chief David Board was stumbling and staggering and had slurred speech during a traffic stop by Austin Police. A Travis County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said Board was pulled over when police saw him drive onto the shoulder and towards other northbound vehicles. The affidavit reports that prior to being pulled over, officers report Board make a left turn from a far right lane.
